The Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentors are selected each spring based on nominations from undergraduate students. Students nominate faculty mentors by completing a survey detailing how the mentor has positively impacted their research experience. A committee reviews the nominations and selects the recipients; in most instances, the award recipients receive multiple nominations in a single year.
