Igniting Innovation: 5 Inventions that Started at UA
May is National Inventors’ Month. To celebrate, we took a moment to applaud innovation at UA, which is designated one of the Top 100 U.S. Universities in 2024 by the National Academy of Inventors.

A compound that showed early promise in treating Parkinson’s disease in fruit flies has also shown neuroprotective effects in mice, according to UA researchers.
