Students To Present Research, Creativity at Annual Conference

April 7, 2023

The Office for Undergraduate Research and the Office for Research & Economic Development (ORED) will host the 17th annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (URCA) conference on April 11 in the Bryant Conference Center. URCA is the premiere annual research event for student researchers to showcase their work to the UA campus community.

Undergraduate student research projects, in either individual or group format, that are mentored by a UA faculty member will be on showcase. Projects will be judged on the following criteria: research question or creative objective, acknowledgment of relevant work, appropriate methodologies, conclusions and recommendations, and effective conference presentation.

Anyone can attend to view posters and listen to presentations. There is no cost of admission.

Winners in each respective discipline will be announced and celebrated on April 24 at the URCA awards luncheon. The top winners in each discipline receive a monetary award.
