The Office for Research Communications develops and implements communications and marketing strategies to promote the impact of research, scholarship, and creative activities at UA, while also generating awareness of emerging opportunities for the campus research community.
What We Do
Communications and Marketing
We lead marketing and communications efforts that support ORED’s goals while building awareness of the UA research brand. Specifically, we
- Create and distribute stories and press releases via UA News and the ORED website
- Create and distribute marketing materials
- Maintain the Research News listserv
- Produce the ORED annual report and economic development annual report
Events
We provide planning and support for several mission-critical ORED events, such as Faculty Research Day and the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference. We also offer guidance, publicity, and support for other ORED-affiliated events.
Web and Digital Strategy
We help manage and support ORED websites and offer expertise and guidance in content strategy, user experience, accessibility, and analytics.
