Research Communications

What We Do

The Office for Research Communications develops and implements communications and marketing strategies to promote the impact of research, scholarship, and creative activities at UA, while also generating awareness of emerging opportunities for the campus research community.

  • Communications & Marketing

    Our responsibilities include creating marketing and communications materials, promoting research news stories, and managing the Research News Listserv.

Work With Us

We offer a variety of services to assist ORED departments in the development and execution of communications strategies. If you are considering a project or have questions about our services, please schedule a consultation via the project request form.

We can assist in the creation of graphics and other marketing and communication pieces depending on the project’s purpose and scope.

To facilitate the design process, please be sure content is finalized and approved by all necessary parties before submitting the project request form.

Printing and Brand Approval 

Research Communications does not handle print orders for departments. We will provide the design files and instructions, but you will be responsible for communicating with Printing Services. We are happy to take part in that process (being CC’d on emails, assisting with the approval of proofs, etc.), but due to shipping and payment concerns, the order will need to come from your department.

Your department will also be responsible for submitting design files to UA’s branding approval process, which may take a few days and is required for purchasing anything with UA logos and identifiers using UA funds.
