ORED Senior Fellows Program
The Office for Research & Economic Development (ORED) Senior Fellows Program identifies research leaders in future fields of preeminence for The University of Alabama (UA) and provides support to these Fellows. In doing so, ORED Senior Fellows will identify, organize, and coalesce multidisciplinary teams around a common theme of research and economic development.
These teams will work collaboratively to produce tangible products, secure external funding, and raise the profile of the University in a meaningful and rapid manner.
Moreover, ORED Senior Fellows will provide crucial feedback to ORED leadership to understand how to better streamline the functions of ORED such that they best serve the research and economic development community at UA. This input will allow best practices to be operationalized across the entire research spectrum, especially in fields of emerging UA leadership.
