The Office for Research & Technology Agreements serves the UA research enterprise by supporting sponsored research, technology commercialization, and other research-related activities through effective and efficient review, drafting, and negotiation of related contractual agreements.

Through its expertise in contractual matters and knowledge of operations of other Division for Research constituent entities, ORTA plays a vital role in fulfilling the Research mission and protecting UA’s interests by ensuring that research-related contractual agreements are in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and UA and UA System policies.
